What is REACH? The goal of the project is to reduce the incidence of teen pregnancy and youth violence in Oceanside and Vista by improving parent/teen communication skills, increasing the number of teens who postpone sexual involvement, increasing the percentage of teens that practice safer sex, and improving the life skills and life options for teens in the community. This is accomplished through a youth development after-school program for teens ages 12-18.
