Biography
Dr. McCammack chose to work with VCC because he wanted to be part of a clinic that serves its community by providing outstanding primary care services. His goal as a physician is to fully understand the cultural and community values of his patients, incorporating that knowledge into his practice in order to improve the level of care provided. Dr. McCammack has published research, lectured and given presentations on a variety of topics throughout his medical career including the issues of depression screening at urban clinics, STDs and contraception, and text messaging in adolescent medicine. He is also actively involved in the community, regularly participating in volunteer efforts through his church.

“I help my patients by listening to and answering their questions. Even if their concerns seem trivial, I understand as a parent that even simple and seemingly silly concerns can be very distressing to parents.”
