Biography
Dr. Ong started working for VCC on a part-time basis in 2005, and joined the team full-time in 2009. He considers himself fortunate to be in a position, especially in primary care, to help people who have few resources. Dr. Ong takes pride and pleasure in speaking with patients about their illness and providing them when with opportunities to create better outcomes. He and his family are also very active in helping the homeless communities in San Diego. Dr. Ong is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, the American Academy of Ambulatory Medicine and the American Medical Association.
