Biography
Dr. Fredricks believes the community clinic model of healthcare is an important and meaningful part of any community. As a pediatrician, his goal is to try to create a positive experience with healthcare, especially for children and adolescents. He wants them to have a connection to VCC as a medical “home” and feel comfortable coming to us with their problems or questions as they grow. Dr. Fredricks has held many medical leadership positions. He is also involved with the local YMCA and serves on a charitable foundation that helps with community projects in California.
How do you help your patients “Choose Health”?
“I feel the best way to help patients make healthy decisions is to respect that they already want to do that at some level. As a result, I see where my patients are willing to begin making changes and then act as a team member, coach, and cheerleader to help those changes along.”
