Nurse Practitioner Ivy Abraham chose to become a clinician with VCC because she believes in promoting health and wellness to all communities. For Ivy, it is important to provide the best in care to underserved populations and she felt the VCC: The Gary Center was the best place to do that.
Ivy wants to create an environment for her patients where they feel comfortable, and a relationship they can trust. Ivy’s goal is to help empower patients to express their concerns without feeling neglected. She says that it is important to her, as a clinician, to help her patients by providing the most honest and kind care, to the best of her ability.
Ivy wants to help her patients make good decisions regarding their health by explaining all options and treatment plans. She wants patients to feel and know that they are included in their treatment plan, so they understand and agree with what is going on with their health.
Ivy loves community involvement and is dedicating her career to helping make the community a safer and healthier place.
