Biography
Dr. Mora joined VCC because she is passionate about reducing disparities in vision care. She wants to impact the lives of her patients by providing the best care and education to encourage healthier lifestyle choices. She is committed to providing her patients an understanding of how their overall health impacts their vision, and help them prevent or slow down the onset of conditions like diabetes and hypertension. Dr. Mora is an avid traveler who is deeply interested in learning about other cultures. She has participated in community service projects by providing eye care to San Diego County veterans and traveled to Peru as part of an international eye care mission.
How do you help your patients “Choose Health”?
I provide extensive patient education in both English and Spanish. I also allow time to answer questions to ensure that my patients walk out with a better understanding of their ocular health and how their overall health might impact their vision.”
